Praying Mantis Challenging Me
Found this Praying Mantis under the overhang in front of the house. I carefully got him down and put him near a bush. Notice he's on a fly swatter. Since he was giving me attitude, I figured it was a good chance to get an interesting photo of him. Looks way better blown up to 8x10.

Tee Hee....Major attitude! Im surprised SHE didnt fly off.....shes also mature....(her wings and her size).....I had one myself ....her name was princess Fanny Namaste when she first came to live with me last yr. Her name came to me because was high maintainance,,,had a big ole butt and Namaste is usually said to others with hands in prayer position. After she charged me a few times and did the arm thingy seen in your pic.....her name quickly became "the green bitch".....LOL.....Great pic!
