National Debt and an Interesting Site

Wow, I haven't posted in a while. So its about time.

Found this interesting site that has a whole bunch of commentary on politics, presidents and various topics. Of course, as with anything one must take this info with a grain of salt and corraborate with other sources etc. What lead me there was the discussion on the National Debt which is simply scary and a number that is hard to imagine. See my sidebar for the wacky number and see how fast it is growing.

Of course, conservatives preach their fiscal prowess but as the numbers on the site show, they (the presidents over the past 20 yrs or so) are some of the worst when it comes to sending us further into debt. This president being no better-- in fact he's one of the worst.

Franky, I don't care if there's a D or R in the White House or controlling congress. I hold them equally accountable. In the end, the president sets the direction and "R" presidents haven't fared well. One could argue that Clinton had alot that was going well in the country and an "R" congress, but at the same time he leveraged that to have a surplus in later years and actually retire some debt rather than simply spending more. Reagan-Bush, and Bush-Cheney are simply attrocious.
